Senior Manager, DevOps

As the Sr. DevOps Manager you’ll collaborate with the engineering, development, integration, and test teams to lead the continuous delivery approach of our software production and release management process. You’ll define, design and facilitate implementation of continuous build integration and automation processes, practices, and frameworks for an enterprise system of systems. You’ll play an integral role in designing and developing operational improvements that will help us keep stellar uptime and reliability.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop strategies to create better collaboration between developers, testers, project managers, and users who have competing goals, schedules and demands
- Help create cross-functional teams that work cohesively to deliver capabilities to the end-user with Agile development methods and automated practices
- Support Linux and Microsoft Windows development environments with technologies such as IIS, RabbitMQ, SQL server, MongoDB, and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
- Find bottlenecks in the process, know which areas need to be addressed, and drive that change
- Lead weekly incident management meetings and provide updates
- Work in a highly collaborative environment with peers and senior leaders, both technical and non-technical
What You Need:
- 4+ years providing technical support for deployment of application changes to the IT environment consisting of multiple platforms including Windows and Linux
- Prior experience managing or functioning as the lead of a small team
- 4+ years using automated deployment and continuous integration tools (ex. Chef, Puppet, Jenkins) and building/configuring supporting infrastructures
- 4+ years with Source Code Management Tools (TFS preferred)
- Solid understanding of software development processes, including building, testing, deployment and release management
- Proven understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile
- Experience with monitoring tools and best practices with alerting and communication protocols
- Experience with Application Change Management or Infrastructure Change Management processes
- Experience with automation and configuration management in the context of software development
- Familiarity with middleware web infrastructure tools such as IIS
