Day-to-Day Tasks of Position Include:

• Provide troubleshooting resolution and updating/upgrading of hardware to customers


• Set up, maintain and remove user network accounts where appropriate


• Carry out routine network and workstation maintenance tasks


• Test and make software available to appropriate customers where requested


• Ensure the software is installed, kept up to date and working properly on all customers stations, where appropriate.


• Researching and tracking information about current security threats and potential vulnerabilities


• Collecting, monitoring and analyzing IT security metrics to measure the effectiveness of Enbridge IT security management processes


• Documenting and updating elements of IT security governance (e.g. policies, procedures, standards)

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Solid understanding of the commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT Support field


• Information Security knowledge preferred


• Experience of Windows, Macintosh and Linux Operating Systems and multiple business software packages (MS Office suite, JIRA, various cloud products) in a commercial environment


• Experience and/or understanding of basic networking concepts


• Previous experience of logging support queries as well has having experience of customer facing support


• Understanding of information security and a desire to explore this field (preferred)


• College degree in a relevant course of study or equivalent work experience


• Strong communication skills including both technical and business writing, documentation and presentation skills


• Possession or working toward achieving the following professional qualifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM (preferred)


• Demonstrable skills in project management
