The Senior Director, Product Management will focus on the day to day management of the Product Team and execution of CT's Consumer product roadmap projects. Today, the team size is six with budgeted headcount to 14+. This role will have strong partnerships with all of our teams, especially our Technology and HR Teams.

He/She will be responsible for:

Team Management

  • Ownership of day to day management of personnel.
  • Grow, develop, mentor, and bring success to a team of product managers.
  • Supervise/manage/direct the selection, training, development, appraisal and work assignments of personnel.

Executive Management:

  • Ability to articulate, present, and deliver against company goals. Articulate roadblocks and present solutions. Deliver against overall company plan.
  • Work with the VP, Product to outline long-term vision and strategic roadmap for Product Development across ConsumerTrack’s verticals. Own the business outcome of strategic roadmap, evaluating complex technical and market insights to make tradeoffs that maximize long term value.
  • Develop and track key metrics / KPIs and targets, developing plans to achieve those targets, and proactively communicate progress.
  • Develop and maintain strong management controls throughout the product lifecycle that create visibility and appropriately inform the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize roadmaps and resources with direct vision of corporate goals and revenue goals. Oversee feature prioritization for the team, and keep the trains running on time within an agile development environment.
  • Skilled at new product development and optimization of products
  • Consistently keep Team and roadmap aligned with Company priorities, goals and revenue targets.

Technology:

  • Partner at a strategic and tactical level with business, QA and Technology Group Leaders.
  • Ensure that the product team works with engineering and design in a method consistent with SCRUM principles and that stories are clearly articulated, actionable and in line with business goals.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 8+ years of digital industry experience- B2C and/or B2B
  • Must have managed and recruited team(s).
  • Experience with any or all areas within product management and development including mobile, content, video, optimization, tech platforms, tools, analytics, etc.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, with a strong ability to develop and articulate a strong strategic vision.
  • Excellent analytical and decision making skills – ability to understand complex technologies and business models, identify and analyze new opportunities, effectively prioritize and make tradeoffs among competing opportunities balancing customer needs with business priorities, and articulate the rationale behind decisions.

    Located in the South Bay, very close to Manhattan Beach! There are plenty of restaurants and parks here. We are very close to Downtown El Segundo.
