We have a new opening for a Senior Compensation Analyst, who will work on various compensation-related programs and services (details below). You will have broad authority to enhance all our compensation related programs, and will work closely with the Chief People Officer and Director People Partners to determine competitive compensation programs for our dynamic technology company. This position will report to the Chief People Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating and supporting total compensation programs, practices, and policies to attract and retain top talent
  • Work with internal stakeholders on a variety of projects including program design, analysis, budgeting, and implementation of new programs
  • Research and analyze new and existing positions and create salary grade structures by interpreting published market data; make sound recommendations by interpreting current pay practices to resolve compensation/grade classification concerns
  • Partner with People team / managers to create, update and maintain job descriptions
  • Maintain appropriate job titles, job codes, FLSA status, pay grade, incentive target, etc. for new job codes and inputs into HR system
  • Advise our talent team on appropriate job offers and review promotional salary increases
  • Perform special compensation, market and internal equity studies by analyzing salary data and work experience of existing employees
  • Support merit review activities including annual, bi-annual and quarterly compensation review cycles
  • Participate in and conduct exempt and nonexempt salary surveys to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, including but not limited to, Fair Labor Standards Act, Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division, ERISA, DCAA, and IRS
  • Develop and maintain compensation data, tables, and overall set-up in the HCM and MarketPay
  • Develop and document procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and work with People Partners Managers to educate Managers
  • Identify trends related to industry and geographic best practices (US, EMEA, Japan)
  • Coordinate applicable adjustments to pay and benefits with the Company’s Payroll department
  • Develop techniques for compiling, preparing and presenting data
  • Track trends and provide metrics related to compensation activities at the aggregate and business unit level
  • Benchmarking salaries, managing the Company’s salary structure, and making recommendations on any necessary adjustments on an annual basis

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Finance or Human Resources
  • A minimum of 7+ years’ experience in compensation administration required, Certified Compensation Professional designation is a strong plus
  • Experience in technology or other fast paced industry, knowledge of Sales Incentive programs, experience with Radford and Croner surveys, WorkDay or Oracle HCM experience, and MarketPay software is strongly preferred
  • Advanced Excel or Google sheets skills required, PowerPoint strongly preferred
  • Understands a Total Rewards philosophy and ability to develop and drive a Total Rewards program
  • Strong quantitative, statistical, and analytical skills and ability to generate reports
