What will you be doing at Beachbody as the Senior Android Engineer?

• As Senior Android Engineer, you will work within our digital organization to develop, deliver, as well as maintain and enhance world class Android based apps across multiple platforms (Phone, tablet, television, smart watch/wearables’, etc…).
• Develops, tests and maintains Android applications across multiple platforms for Beachbody.
• Working with other team members,  as well as evaluating and researching latest device technology, coding patterns, OS Frameworks and features, and recommending and implementing within the larger digital team.
• You will work with project managers and ensure that all project milestones are met. Additionally, work collaboratively with peers and teams such as Business Owners, Product and QA.
• Provide technical estimates for development efforts and provide solutions to requirements presented by the Business Analysts.

We’d love to chat if you have…

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field and at least 3-4 years’ experience or equivalent training.
• MINIMUM 2 years’ experience developing native Android client applications, with working knowledge and demonstrated experience of Java, Android SDKs and Frameworks.
• Solid demonstrated experience testing your applications, including writing unit tests, test automation, and working closely with quality assurance teams.
• Experience with efficient client-side integration with Restful and SOAP-based services in high-performance ecosystem.
