As a Regulatory Affairs intern, you’ll be supporting our Legal department on projects that ensure all domestic and international regulations are met. The team provides guidance and support to product development, marketing, legal, quality, and other essential teams while also approving product labels, artwork design, and advertising. Regulatory Affairs communicates registration requirements, registers products with government entities, and reviews formulas and raw material documentation to verify regulatory compliance.

The Honest Internship Program takes place at our headquarters in Playa Vista. The program will run for 10 weeks from the beginning of June to mid-August, and is a paid, full-time, 40 hours/week program. Interns must be available for the full duration of the internship.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with our contract manufacturers and internal development teams to gather raw material documentation for our Honest formulations
  • Analyze the validity of documentation including proper specifications, test methods, test data and necessary information for government submissions
  • Support the Regulatory Affairs team with internal audits of existing products, and assist with gathering appropriate documentation
  • Assist in maintaining regulatory archives and product registration databases
  • Review consistency between web collateral and product label claims

What you’ll need:

  • Must be currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, an undergraduate program with a focus in a science-based field (biology, chemistry, etc.)
  • Strong interest in the product development process with a consumer goods company
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency with MS Office
