The Quality Assurance Specialist works closely with the development team to ensure new and existing digital subscription applications are working and behaving as designed from a consumer point of view inclusive of the lenses of digital subscription prospects, current subscribers, former subscribers, and potential print upgrades.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with software development team to understand the architecture of new and existing applications.
- Assist as needed in the development of test cases scenarios for end to end business user acceptance testing.
- Closely monitor prospect and customer facing applications to ensure performance is in accordance to tronc standards. These applications could be supported internally or externally.
- Stay connected with digital subscriptions industry best practices and research tools. Familiarize with other digital subscription paths. Provide recommendations that support overall tronc Acquisition and Marketing mission and goals.
- Multi-task and manage priorities to address production requirements in a very fast pace environment.
- Help coordinate testing task among other members of the department.
- Participate on daily/weekly scrums with internal and external customers during deployments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Technical field preferred.
- 3-5 years of data quality assurance/monitoring experience.
- Experience with testing tools like browserstack and litmus a huge plus!
- A keen eye for the design of effective, efficient and timely processes.
- Extremely high degree of accuracy and attention to detail including proofreading
- High regard for procedure and orderliness.
- An interest in technology and a passion for innovation.
