What You’re Applying For:
The Sales Specialist – Audience Platform position assists with all Data and Programmatic revenue generating activities including proposal creation, sales story development, responding to RFPs, campaign management, reporting, and revenue retention. The Sales Specialist works internally with the Account Directors to support the programmatic buyers, DSPs, Trading Desks, and agency clients. The Sales Specialist also coordinates internally with teams to create and launch new Data and Programmatic campaigns and programs.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide strategic and working level support to all Account Directors for Programmatic and Data programs
- Pull together targeted sales plan and sales proposals
- Learn and utilize all data and programmatic technology platforms
- Help the Account Directors support their relationships with Trading Desks and DSPs
- Back-up Account Directors in managing incoming client data inquiries and requests Seek and identify new revenue opportunities such as analyzing Open Exchange advertisers and working with Account Directors to identify custom opportunities for their OEM clients, work with data technology platforms to identify new advertisers
- Work with Account Directors to translate client needs into unique data and programmatic solutions, presenting existing or new opportunities in compelling ways
- Leverage performance metrics from the client to provide insights internally
- Track data activity (i.e., segments used, platforms used, etc.) and provides recommendations on strategy and optimization
- Deliver insights to Sales team on what type of data is being used, what media is being purchased, and in what use-cases to help with Sales approach
- Develop Sales materials such as PowerPoint
Challenges:
- Learning new Ad Tech platforms needed to pull reports and analyze data.
- Understanding all the pieces and ad technology involved in the Data program and how it all fits together

What you Need:
- Established experience in data platforms, DSP capabilities, and exchanges
- Solid understanding of the Data, Programmatic and automotive industry, key clients and agencies
- Creative thinking, analytical problem solving and critical thinking necessary
- Ability to think strategically and desire to help shape new processes and presentations as the company grows
- Ability and desire to work cross-functionally and be a great team player
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills
- Proven ability to multi-task, manage projects to completion and work within very tight deadlines
- Detail-oriented & generates high quality output with minimal supervision
- Extremely proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to travel as needed
- Knowledge of DSP and SSP platforms
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related field
