Product Manager

As a Product Manager at OpenX you will be responsible for delivering meaningful solutions to our customers from concept to launch. Working closely with business and engineering teams you will set the team’s strategy, define goals, and determine the roadmap. Representing the customer throughout development, you will need to have an intimate understanding of our customer needs and how OpenX products work at the feature level. This position will have a significant impact on our business and requires someone who is up for the challenge.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the needs and business objectives of internal and external stakeholders
• Set the long-term vision and strategy for products and features
• Communicate strategy to all of the relevant participants and stakeholders
• Drive feature prioritization and product requirements to improve product effectiveness and usability over time
• Evaluate opportunities and work with different internal teams to implement solutions and iterate.
• Interact with various levels of personnel from C-level managers down to functional business users as well other product and development teams
• Proactively provide customer and business context to engineering team
• Express novel ideas and complex concepts clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor degree (preferably in computer science or engineering); MBA preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a product management role, with a successful track record of designing, building and launching products with real business impact
• Experience building workflow solutions and complex, highly integrated software solutions
• Fluency in Agile, experience in human-centered design process
• Knowledge of display advertising technology is preferred, specifically ad serving and/or monetization systems
