As a Packaging Intern, you’ll work within our larger Product Development and Innovation Department to assist with developing all primary and secondary packaging for The Honest Company. You’ll have the opportunity to partner with Creative and Brand on their vision and bring it to life!

The Honest Internship Program takes place at our headquarters in Playa Vista. The program will run for 10 weeks from the beginning of June to mid-August, and is a paid, full-time, 40 hours/week program. Interns must be available for the full duration of the internship.

What you’ll do:

• Partner closely with key company stakeholders on packaging requests and needs
• Assist our Head of Packaging with setting up test requests and working with external laboratories in order to complete requests
• Assist with running package tests in house as needed in order to determine quality and effectiveness, such as the effect of heat and time on packaging
• Partner with suppliers to gather information necessary to set up packaging specifications for primary and secondary packaging components
• Support the packaging team on other projects and initiatives as they come up

What you’ll need:

• Must be currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, an undergraduate program
• Background in engineering, preferably packaging engineering/science
• Ability to think critically
