We’re looking for a Product Development and Innovation intern to support our Diapers, Fem Care, Gear & More, and Gift categories! We launch over 40+ new diaper prints per year and enjoy the process of making them come to life from concept through launch. We also manage our Fem Care suite, contributing to the success of these products by maintaining current, on-trend packaging and working closely with sales on retailer-specific needs. For Gear & More, we manage products like our Diaper Bags, Bandana Bibs, and Totes. When a vendor wants an exclusive on a new bag, it’s our job to come up with the perfect style and color to meet their needs.

We’re looking for an intern interested in learning all about CPG production with a specific focus on product design. You’ll learn how we build our color library and help manage and maintain our color books – our own personal book of custom Honest colors in every print we’ve ever made.

The Honest Internship Program takes place at our headquarters in Playa Vista. The program will run for 10 weeks from the beginning of June to mid-August, and is a paid, full-time, 40 hours/week program. Interns must be available for the full duration of the internship.

What you’ll do:

• Help facilitate the production cycle of our seasonal diapers by assisting in approvals and attending weekly meetings
• Learn how to CAD (i.e. mock up the adorable prints onto digital diapers. Don’t worry – we’ll teach you how!)
• Bring the prints to life by working closely with the graphic design team and our supplier to take the file from idea, to proof, to production, and finally, to a finished product
• Build specs for each new print
