Why is the Technology team important to Beachbody?

Beachbody's technology team is leading the way for new opportunities in the digital realm. They provide applications from consumer-facing eCommerce and high traffic CRM to data platforms and core enterprise applications which are at the heart of Beachbody's order processing and fulfillment engine.

What will you be doing at Beachbody as the Principal Software Engineer?

• Guiding us on our journey explaining trade-offs and providing recommendations in order to assess compatibility and integration of new consumer products
• Inspiring Engineering and Technical Operations teams by providing leadership and guiding the design, development, integration and migration of consumer systems
• Providing solid foundations by developing and evolving a global consumer systems architecture, obtaining alignment with core and regional system strategies 

We'd love to chat if you have... 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and education
• 10+ years' experience in complex environment, designing, implementing and maintaining highly scalable, high-volume software systems and components, client-facing web applications in the cloud
• Well rounded working experience developing with multiple languages. For example, front-end: browser and device typically using common client-side technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript. And, back-end: server, application, database using languages like Java, Ruby, PHP as well as Middleware technologies like JMS, ESB, MQ
• Deep understanding of system performance tradeoffs, load balancing, and engineering for high availability.
• Working experience with application lifecycle methodologies (e.g. agile)
