Role Summary:

We’re looking for smart, gritty, and self-motivated Mobile Software Engineers (iOS) to help build and scale our apps. Our apps support transactions for an online marketplace of consumers and pet care service providers, discovery and matching engines, messaging engines spanning multiple channels, and much more. You will be helping build new features, expand existing capabilities that will accommodate our rapidly growing customer base.

Requirements:

• Solid foundation in programming and computer science
• Demonstrated ability to solve large and complex application problems
• Experience with Java, Objective-C and/or C++
• Knowledge of UI and MVP application design.
• Strong object-oriented skills including design, coding, and testing patterns.
• Demonstrated ability to solve for business problems.

Responsibilities:

• Agile development practices, unit and integration testing, iterative development and releases
• Ownership of code, applications and systems for quality, interoperability and performance
• Work in small cross-functional teams and actively collaborate with business and engineering stakeholders
• Work across the full software development life cycle
