InviteManager is seeking an ambitious and creative event marketing lead who will drive new business by activating key partnerships and producing unforgettable events, including: trade shows, industry conferences and internal events. This role will manage events and conferences end-to-end including: partner, vendor and venue management, event logistics, budget, timelines, opportunity identification and event reporting. 

As the Marketing Events Lead, you will be responsible for the development and execution InviteManager’s live and virtual event strategy to drive brand awareness, thought leadership and demand generation. Working closely with marketing leadership, you will find new ways to reach the event and ticket management software industry and create demand through events.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising all aspects of the InviteManager User Conference including budget, lead generation, brand presence, staffing, etc.
  • Identify, recruit and manage speakers for key events. This requires involvement in selection of topics, reviewing content, helping organize speaker information and panelists on delivery, and supervising set-up and execution
  • Research industry tradeshows and events whose audience aligns to our targets; organize appropriate volume of sponsorship to achieve business goals
  • Activate Partnerships with key industry partners to drive leads, resulting in new business wins
  • Partner with sales to plan dinners and other programs to drive business in key accounts and regions
  • Work with internal teams to follow up on leads post event to generate business opportunities
  • Develop event plans for each event including staffing, budget, agenda, premiums, and marketing activities required to promote the event
  • Manage events calendar & update weekly notes and meeting slides
  • Communicate, maintain and develop vendor relationships
  • Creation of presentation materials to track the progress of the events throughout planning process
  • Creation of pre-event briefings and post event summaries including reporting and analytics

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum 4+ years experience in B2B event marketing and/or corporate event management; SaaS marketing experience strongly preferred
  • Project management expertise and the ability to cope with pressure and work on tight deadlines
  • Ability to travel onsite to events as needed
  • Ability to execute in a deadline driven environment
  • Quick learner, organized and self-motivated with the ability to define goals and prioritize your own work
