Gem is introducing new markets to blockchain technology, a next generation network for data management. Gem’s Marketing Director has the opportunity to shape new industries with this technology and its ever-evolving product landscape. The role will challenge your automation craftsmanship, with resources that will empower your to transform our pipeline into a well oiled machine. You will design and iterate campaigns that generate, nurture, and convert leads based on your own understanding of our vision and product growth strategy. As the Marketing Director you will be creative, product and digital marketing minded, and have an entrepreneurial mindset that drives you to master the complex landscape of emerging tech.

What you’ll do

- We’re in a new market, so you decide how we measure success. - You’ll develop new, creative growth strategies for nascent markets with long sales cycles
- Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and automation campaigns
- Design, build and maintain our social media presence
- Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
- Collaborate with product team to create landing pages, webinars, and digital content assets according to a marketing roadmap
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end user experience across multiple channels and touch points
- Orchestrate conversion points and optimize user funnels
- Collaborate with public relations, marketing, media and education partners and vendors
- Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

What you’ll need

- Proven track record of success in B2B and/or enterprise marketing
- Highly skilled in digital and product marketing using web, automation and analytics platforms and tools, such as WordPress and Pardot/Hubspot
- Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
- Experience working directly with product teams to design and implement marketing campaigns that demonstrate product alignment with corporate vision
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, and social media campaign
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement

Nice to have

- Proficiency using website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends) and display advertising
- BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
