The Communications Intern position is located in Santa Monica, CA. This role will play a key part in assisting the Marketing Department and will report directly to the Senior Director of Marketing. Essential duties include: assisting with the development and implementation of a global internal communications strategy across all of our international office locations, producing and publishing corporate-wide and executive communications.

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

• Internal Communication:
  
  • Develop global internal communications strategy
  • Create and maintain corporate communication calendar
  • Align communication across all international sites to ensure cohesion

• Executive Communication:
  
  • Assist with executive-level, regular communication to be distributed to all employees, clients, and prospects
  • Assist in producing monthly newsletters series
  • Plan founders’ event calendar and produce supporting materials as needed

• Marketing Administration:
  
  • Research/establish new platforms for internal/external communication tools
  • Support outside public relations firm in drafting media release
  • Assist with other marketing initiatives as needed

Skills:

• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions, often with some level of ambiguity
• Mastery of Microsoft and Google suites
• Proven experience working with senior executives (Plus)
• Previous PR experience (Plus)

Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Business, Entrepreneurship, and/or Marketing majors preferred
• Junior or Senior preferred
