The Honest Company is currently seeking a Marketing Analyst. This person will be an integral part of the Brand Strategy Team (brand management & consumer insights), consolidating inputs from multiple sources to enable effective data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will be intellectually curious, have excellent analytical abilities and outstanding business acumen, combined with the ability to transform complex analysis into clear, meaningful recommendations.
What you’ll do:
- Aggregate and organize information to provide 360 degree reporting across P&L, budget, competitive landscape, consumer and category data on a regular basis
- Build and manage marketing budget and work with cross-functional channel groups to maintain and report through fiscal year
- Prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews and category analysis
- Develop and report on key category and consumer dashboards weekly, partnering with brand, consumer insights, category & shopper insights, digital/web analytics, and data science teams to update, streamline, and introduce efficiencies where available
- Share business and marketing performance by overall brand and by category weekly, highlighting trends and changes in data in order to inform future strategy
- Assist in omni-channel tracking
- Support analysis and creation of a variety of type of reports (executive, sales, consumer insights, customer performance, category insights), doing deep data mining where required
- Analyze effectiveness of marketing promotions, creating reporting on sales lift and ROI tracking to share out with team weekly
- Assist in data preparation and investigation for ad hoc research requests

What you’ll need:
- Business degree
- 2+ years of working experience in analytics or a similar capacity
- Ability to utilize business intelligence tools/syndicated platforms (Domo a +)
- Basic working knowledge of data structures (ability to write SQL a +)
- Experience with additional analytic tools (SPSS, R, cross-tabs, advanced analytics a +)
- Advanced ability in Excel – pivot tables, lookups, modeling, logical functions
Bonus points for:
- Experience in working with CPG, branding, eCommerce, and retail
