The mission of the Laserfiche training team is to ensure our customers, resellers and employees are well educated and enthusiastic about our software. 

 

The Manager of Corporate Training works closely with teams across the company to drive the success of our onsite and online training programs, developing creative strategies to engage learners, building new programs of study and improving existing curriculum.


The ideal candidate should be a superior communicator, able to work with subject matter experts from both technical and business teams to creatively transform technical concepts into educational materials. The right individual will have the ability to analyze large amounts of information and, from this, create engaging, educational courses.

 

Responsibilities include:

    • Design, develop and maintain technical course materials for all audiences, including course content, course outline and learner evaluation
    • Create new strategies—tailored for online learners—to build knowledge and increase user adoption
    • Manage project timelines and resources to ensure deliverables are completed in scope and on schedule
    • Team with subject matter experts to gather requirements and incorporate expertise into curriculums and learning objectives
    • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure all training curriculum and learning goals address the requirements of all Laserfiche audiences and Laserfiche corporate initiatives
    • Make recommendations for process and quality improvements on all online education courses

     

    Requirements:

    • Four-year degree (BA, BS) in education, instructional technology, computer science, business administration or an engineering-related field
    • 3-7 years of experience in instructional design and development, including a strong background in online curriculum design
    • Demonstrated success in project management for product release readiness, including the ability to gather and translate customer feedback into successful product initiatives
    • Superior ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
    • Ability to storyboard scripts, write effective audio and video scripts and translate existing material into learning modules
    • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills (both oral and written)
    • Experience with any of the following programs preferred: course development software (Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline), learning management system (Grovo, Inquisiq, Blackboard), Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
