Why is the Technology Team important to Beachbody?

Beachbody’s technology team is leading the way for new opportunities in the digital realm. They provide applications from consumer-facing ecommerce and high traffic CRM for our Coach network to data platforms and core enterprise applications which are at the heart of Beachbody's order processing and fulfillment engine.

What you will be doing at Beachbody as a Lead Engineer NOC? 

• Proactively monitor Beachbody's production infrastructure and troubleshoot or escalate as necessary and use monitoring tools to watch and perform triage via documented processes and respond to situations within Beachbody's environments.
• Perform Level 1 troubleshooting and support to efficiently manage issues as they arise.
• Report and escalate to senior team members/technical management any incidents that impact the Beachbody environment, and help to improve service levels for all properties.
• Arrange/coordinate with the other groups in IT or 3rd parties to assist in the resolution of problems, become familiar with deployment and release of new products, and contribute to world-class service and support.
• Create, update and enhance written processes, procedures, and documentation using guidelines focused on ease of understanding and attention to detail.

We'd love to chat if you have...

• Six to eight years of related work experience with at least an Associate’s degree and UNIX/Linux Certification preferred.
• Leader and SME with Unix/Linux infrastructure knowledge at an operator or above level, specifically in a web-centric production environment with good LAMP stack/Spring framework knowledge.
• Leader with operational background as either a team member of another Operations Center, NOC or Systems Engineering group is highly preferred.
• SME with monitoring systems such as Nagios, Splunk and Solarwinds and VMWare, storage (preferably EMC platforms), and basic networking experience are a plus.
• Evening, weekend, holiday, and on-call hours are possible.
