Please note: This is a part-time, paid internship position for ideal for Sophomores, Junior, and Senior undergraduate students. Pay ranges from $10 to $12 an hour depending on experience.

As a Jr. Producer Intern, you will aid Producers to research, brainstorm, and pitch original ideas for new video concepts on Snapchat. Once greenlit, you will be responsible for helping with coordination, managing, and staying on track with timelines. This role will work closely with a Producer to identify and filter interesting and easily digestible content that will be told through short form video, and to help produce and coordinate other projects/events when needed. Must be an organized team player with a can-do attitude and ability to think outside the box of mainstream media. Must be motivated, comfortable with taking directions, scheduling and managing talent needs while operating at a fast pace.

What we look for

• Someone who understands what production means on non-traditional social content platforms like Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
• Knowledge in the MCN world (Maker, Fullscreen, Awesomeness etc.) but understands how to put together visually pleasing content that also tells a story like Prettybird, VICE, Nowness, Black Dog Films, Beats, RedBull, GoPro, etc.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, emphasis in film/production preferred
• Understands how hectic working with talent can be and is able to be relentless in making the content amazing and countless items come together in a short period of time
• That self-starter type. If you have an idea, go do it and make it amazing
• An excellent attention to detail that is borderline obsessive.
• Know your creators - you should be able to tell us your favorite Snapchat accounts to watch
• Passion for Snapchat
