With its friendly, simple and accessible experience, it has become a top ranked app for meditation and mindfulness and garnered over 2 million downloads. We recently joined Amplify LA, a startup accelerator in Venice, California. Part of our team is based at the Amplify offices, and the rest work remotely. As we ramp up our team, we're looking for great iOS engineers who are excited about building awesome products and care about our mission. This is an opportunity to join an early stage company that has already built a large organic audience in a fast growing category and help define the user experience for the space.
Responsibilities:
Work with UX designers, product managers, and company founders to plan and implement new features and capabilities
Expand our existing iOS application, https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id778848692
Build new apps from the ground up as we expand
Mentor interns and more junior developers
Work with our API engineers to plan and integrate server-side support for the apps and features you build
Requirements:
3+ years of experience developing iOS apps in Objective C and Swift
Can work in an agile, JIRA-based environment
Have shipped an app where you were a significant contributor
Experience using Auto Layout from code (we use Masonry)
A bonus if you have experience with any of the following:
Audio and video streaming
Swift
In-app purchases and subscriptions
Building apps for a large, diverse user base
On-site preferred, remote ok as long as you can work during US Pacific Time working hours.
