The Details

Mashable is seeking a video production intern to join our Mashable Studios division. Studios focuses on its own original video programing as well as series for our brand partners. The Studios interns will assist the Executive Producer of Mashable Studios and the entire Studios creative team in the pre-production, production and post-production phases of Mashable’s original series slate.

The Day to Day

• Assist in preparation for video shoots and gear organization
• Assist misc. grip work, production assistance and shooting in studio or on location
• Assistant editing including stringouts and finishing
• File management, footage and assets organization
• Handle uploads through our CMS and YouTube optimization/publishing process
• Assist with production tracking and various document prep for meetings

Must Haves

• Familiar with Premiere, Photoshop (After Effects, Audition, Final Draft a plus)
• Experience operating DSLRs + and eye for composition
• Interest in pop culture, TV/film, comics, etc
• Detail oriented
• Team player with a positive attitude and great work ethic
• Based in LA, available up to 5 days per week
