Collab, Inc is a Downtown LA based video creator development company and the leading independent network for multi-platform talent. Collab was started by veteran video creators to help make the lives of independent creators easier and to provide everything they need to succeed creatively and financially. We specialize in working with mobile video creators and helping them build their audience and earnings across multiple platforms (YouTube, musical.ly, Vine, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, etc). Our network includes over 400 top social media creators with over 700 Million Followers. We are also a digital studio that produces original shows for TV and digital platforms.

Who we are looking for:

An Intern who will be supporting the talent department​. ​Must have a passion and eagerness to learn about the YouTube, digital entertainment, and the social media ecosystem. ​This is a part-time, unpaid position and all applicants must be eligible to receive school credit, and be available to work at least two-three full days (16-24 hours) per week.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing materials
  • ​ for a roster of ​social media influencers by updating social media reach, statistics and links for spreadsheets and keynote presentations. 
  • ​Shadow multiple departments within the company to learn business capacity and teams.
  • Creating thumbnails for YouTube channels using Photoshop or photo editing tools (based on level of experience)
  • On a daily basis, track industry-related news and news related to Collab's roster of creators.

Job Requirements: 

  • ​Must own a laptop, have transportation to and from work, and own a reliable phone. ​
  • ​Enthusiastic to learn about the digital entertainment industry
  • Must have good writing skills.
  • ​Resourceful, self-starting, and hard working.​
  • Photoshop or photo-editing skills are a big plus.
