The Role:
As we continue to innovate and grow operations, we're looking to add an Industrial Engineer to the team! This role will partner with our internal operations teams and our external consulting firm on process improvement initiatives across existing facilities and assist in developing additional facilities across the country.
Responsibilities:
- Develop layout designs and process flows for new facilities.
- Create equipment requirements, procure equipment and oversee installation and testing of equipment.
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of the construction and commissioning of new facilities.
- Work with multiple departments to identify and execute improvements in the operations.
- Maintain pick lines and product slotting systems.
- Support production scheduling and the development of scheduling tools needed.
- Drive the adoption of automated portioning / food manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering
- 1 – 2 years experience in a food distribution and/or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Candidates must be able to travel 25% of the time.
