The Ideal Candidate: 

In this role as Director of Global IS programs this individual will design and implement technical programs that elevate the level of service to our organization and launch new capabilities for our business.

In this role as Director of Global IS programs this individual will design and implement technical programs that elevate the level of service to our organization and launch new capabilities for our business.

The Director of IS programs will help identify potential efficiencies and improvements in all facets of technology including: implementing industry best practices; unlocking new business capabilities and managing cross functional programs impacting the Technology department. You will build a centralized list of prioritized efforts with the long term objective of improving DSC’s ability to “Detect and Analyze” potential efficiency opportunities.

Other key areas of responsibility include:

• Direct the development of Information Systems Policies and Procedures reference manual including (but not limited to) confirming completeness, quality and adherence to methodologies, standards and procedures, and verifying compliance with applicable audit, regulatory and licensing requirements
• Identify opportunities for increased automation
• Contract reviews and compliance across all IT contracts
• ISO and PCI compliance
• Multiple Vendor Management responsibilities including developing and implementing a software selection process and keeping track of all the software evaluations
• Helping manage license budgets and evaluate upcoming costs against new acquisitions
• Ability to work independently and plan and manage multiple assignments across multiple projects or work streams

What We’re Looking for:

• B.S in Computer Science, Masters Degree is preferred

• Ability to work independently and plan and manage multiple assignments across multiple projects or work streams
• 10+ years leading teams responsible for requirements definition, requirements management, and requirements validation
• 10+ years leading teams responsible for the design and definition of technology solutions
• Strong implementation support skills across multiple platform
• Strong Agile sDLC and waterfall methodologies experience
• Strong IT policies and procedures and governance experience
• Strong Excel skills as well Visio or equivalent modeling tool experience
• Strong written communication and documentation skills
• Certification in Project Management methodologies highly desireable
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a managerial role building relationships and implementations
