You’ll Report To: Manager, Software Engineering
A typical day as a Full Stack Engineer (UI) might include:
- Creating intuitive, robust, and reusable user interfaces with JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3
- Working with designers to build clean web designs that are up to standard
- Participating in the design and development of new UI functionality for web applications
- Finding solutions for cross browser issues in both HTML/CSS and JavaScript
- Integrating our web applications with our API platform and RESTful services
You’ll be successful if you’re interested in working in a role that transcends all positions related to user experience on the web.
What You Have:
- Strong UI development skills. HTML5, CSS3, and Object-Oriented JavaScript
- Familiarity with modern frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, jQuery, etc.)
- Creating rich interactions and dynamic user interfaces
- Proficiency with mid-level PHP development
- Understanding of RESTful web services
- Write reusable and maintainable code and modules that scale
- Optimize site performance and page speed
- Have a knack for the health and fitness industry
- Ad troubleshooting skills for mobile and desktop preferred
- Knowledge with version control and bug tracking systems a plus
- Familiarity with Node and MongoDB a plus
- Experience working on a high traffic website
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Not afraid to wear multiple hats - no job being too small or too large
