Full Stack Developer

We are currently looking for an intelligent, passionate Full Stack Developer to work full time in our Los Angeles office. You’ll have a variety of responsibilities as part of a team designing and building out a platform at the bleeding edge of the Real Estate Industry. You will develop new features and products (and improve existing ones) as you collaborate closely with various teams. Your impact will be immediate and critical to successfully scaling Realty Mogul as the leading real estate crowdfunding platform.

What You’ll Do:

• Work with team members in agile development environment
• Develop and maintain Python based applications, APIs and services
• Develop and maintain Frontend web applications built with ReactJS
• Write unit, functional and integration tests
• Perform code review and other development best practices

Who You Are:

• 3+ years of software development experience in a production environment
• Fluency in Python or a similar language used in backend development
• Fluency in Javascript, HTML, CSS, SASS
• Passionate about Unit Testing and Best Practices
• Experience working with RDBMS systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Experience working with and writing RESTful APIs
• Experience working with source control (Git, SVN)
• Passionate about learning new technologies and sharing with team members

Nice to Have:

• Interest in the Commercial Real Estate Industry
• Interest in data and ETL systems
• Experience working with or building Microservices
• Experience working with Amazon Web Services
• DevOps experience
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with ReactJS and Redux or other SPA frameworks
• Experience with Java, C# or similar languages
• Familiar with Functional Programming concepts
• Familiar with OOP and Design Patterns
• Familiar with Event Driven Architectures
• Experience with Kanban or other agile development environments
