We’re looking for an amazing financial data analyst to work with our financial data to build reporting and provide insights that will help our executive and go-to-market teams make even more informed decisions. You will have the ability to work with a world class finance team who obsesses over delivering data driven insights and reporting across the entire company. The ideal candidate will be an analyst who is an expert in SQL, has a strong background with SaaS businesses and will be very comfortable and experienced in working with large data sets and delivering real-time reporting to the executive team. You must strive for excellence and be a self starter. You must have a proven track record of using analytics to gain insights and influence the growth and success of a SaaS business.

Responsibilities:

• Development of an efficient, sustainable, and flexible data transformation architecture to power downstream financial analytics & data science initiatives
• Automation of common financial reporting requests
• Assistance in providing data-informed answers to “big-picture” financial questions
• Democratization of access to directional financial data and insights

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Analytics or Data Science
• Expert-level SQL knowledge, Python a plus
• Experience building and/or working with Data Modeling/Transformation tools
• Deep understanding of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) concepts & processes
• Experience using cloud-based BI tools (Mode Analytics, Looker, etc.)
• Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal oversight
• Ability to communicate the results of analyses in a clear and effective manner
