Job Description

PatientPop is seeking an experienced Events Marketing Manager with a strong understanding of event marketing strategy and operations, and proven experience creating, managing and executing best-in-class events. The Events Marketing Manager will drive strategy, execution and ROI of conferences, local field events and workshops. A key responsibility will develop pre-, on-site, and post-event engagement strategy and implementing supporting marketing programs to drive event success. The position will report into the VP of Marketing and work closely with demand generation, product marketing, sales and customer success teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the strategic planning and budget for yearly events calendar and budget
  • Plan, execute and manage all aspects of conference sponsorships, including coordination of logistics such as equipment, catering, marketing collateral, promotional giveaways, and company travel requirements
  • Work with sales leadership to develop strategy and oversee execution of territory-based sales events
  • Develop, manage and optimize events calendar, event evaluation process, timelines and events budget.
  • Work with marketing operations team to plan and execute the pre, during and post event nurture and engagement programs
  • Lead event data collection, CRM tracking and reporting, including event ROI.
  • Manage individual event budgets, with focus on delivering high quality leads and generating pipeline, while maximizing the ROI of each event
  • Manage external vendor relationships, inclusive of negotiating budgets and contracts
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure each event meets the overall goals of the company

QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS:

  • 3-5 years’ experience managing marketing events and activities in B2B tech or SaaS with bonus points for experience in healthcare.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Successful track record owning or being a key contributor to event marketing strategy and programs and reporting on effectiveness.
  • Proficiency with Pardot or similar Marketing Automation Platform, Salesforce.com and webinar platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-up, budgeting and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, generate creative solutions and manage multiple, time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
  • Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work with all levels across the organization as well as with clients and prospects.
  • Proven ability to apply creativity and passion to marketing programs and projects.
  • Ability to thrive in an intense, fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
