Job Description:


One of MomentFeed’s core solutions is to provide our clients with Store Locators and Local Landing Pages for their branded websites. These pages give consumers an easy way to find information on nearby client locations and play an important role in local SEO and search awareness for the brand. The Web Developer will play a lead role in the design and implementation of these pages, working across both our Engineering and Client Success teams.


 This is not your typical entry-level gig. The position carries a large amount of responsibility and provides strong potential for growth into other areas of product development. We’re looking for someone that works hard, has a great attitude, does excellent work and is hungry to learn and grow with the company.


 This position is based in Santa Monica.


 Responsibilities:


The Web Developer will play a lead role in the successful building and deployment of client Store Locators and Landing Pages:



  • Communicate directly with clients to gather requirements for branding and customization of their Store Locator and Local Landing Pages

  • Design, code and QA Store Locators and Local Landing Pages for MomentFeed’s clients

  • Coordinating Locator and Landing Page implementation and deployment schedules

  • Troubleshooting and repair of bugs/issues on deployed pages

  • Collect and use client/user feedback to develop new page templates and customizations

  • Communicating needs and feedback to Product Management

  • Grow experience and skills by actively engaging with the engineering team to take on projects beyond the above, primary responsibilities


Requirements:


Candidates must possess the following, as indicated through relevant internships, course work and/or independent projects:



  • College degree in CS

  • Strong client-side coding skills and experience (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)

  • Ability to create, clean, organized HTML and CSS code, leveraging current techniques, tools and libraries

  • Applied knowledge of web design and key UX principles

  • Communication skills to effectively interface with clients, understand their needs and build pages that exceed expectations

  • Experience with Angular framework

  • Ability to prioritize and work on several projects simultaneously

  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to QA one’s own work

  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude

  • Initiative and desire to learn from a talented team of experienced engineers 

  • Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop and Illustrator are a plus

  • Online portfolio or samples of previous projects

  • Naturally wired to operate with a sense of urgency
