They rallied up top talent in the industry but didn’t have to look far. The founding group is made up of friends and eCommerce veterans. What we’re looking for:

Are you a rockstar marketer with hands-on email marketing experience? If so, Hollar is looking for a results-oriented, driven individual to manage email marketing programs that will drive purchase, engagement, and retention. If you’re someone with strategic vision and a desire to work for a dynamic and fast-growing ecommerce startup, this role may be for you.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Drive Hollar’s customer activation and retention strategy by developing and optimizing lifecycle, batch, and transactional email campaigns
  • Develop programs to maximize customer retention, with a focus on repeat purchase, win-back, cross-sell, and upsell efforts
  • Manage the end-to-end creation, execution, and analysis of all email campaigns.
  • Create data-driven, dynamic campaigns, audience segmentation strategies and testing plan to maximize ROI targets
  • Optimize key channel metrics including open rates, CTR, conversion, incremental revenue lift, engagement, and app installs
  • Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM regulations and maintain expertise in email delivery best practices
  • Manage overall email file health and inbox deliverability targets
  • Lead the email and mobile cross-channel customer contact strategy
  • Test and grow Hollar’s mobile app messaging channel including push and in-app notifications
  • Develop and own CRM reports and summarize performance to executive team on a weekly basis

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 3+ years of experience in online & email marketing
  • Ability to translate business objectives into strategies and project plans for high-volume email marketing campaigns
  • Expert ability executing campaigns within an ESP/CRM platform; Bronto experience is a plus
  • Comprehensive understanding and the ability to perform basic HTML and CSS editing
  • Strong appreciation for good design and email marketing best practices
  • eCommerce and app notification experience is a plus
