The ideal candidate should have complete command of at least one of the major languages we use on a daily basis (Python or Ruby) - ideally both and have the ability to work independently and problem solve to find the right solution to the problem at hand - this person will own the infrastructure and deployment process and will have a lot of say as to what goes into place and why.

We're looking to completely automate the deployment process and speed up the time in which releases can be accomplished by our entire engineering team. scripts are great but we should only use as necessary - We are looking for someone who cares about Infrastructure as Code and knows why it matters. This person will be responsible for owning our entire infrastructure, soup to nuts.

You will setup databases (Relational and NoSQL) manage data pipelines, build python scripts to pull from other data sources, containerize applications (for both internal and external use) use bash and shell scripts to automate tasks, build killer Makefiles to make our engineers lives easier and generally touch every single piece of our technology stack.
