• This person will manage 4 backend middleware developers (1 Junior and 3 Mid) to begin with


• Make sure the delivery of product : Data Service/API is the road to access all spokeo data


• Data Service (DSL) and API have their own development cycle


• Review project spec and estimate time for completion 


• Assign projects to developers


• Hands on development and code reviews to produce good quality of code


• Testing (Stress, Load, Unit, ...)


•      Make sure any feature addition / modification performs same or better


•      Integration with external services


•      Automation


• Deployment


•      Jenkins


•      Planning / Retrospective


• Environment


•     Maintain 3 git repo


•     Maintain DSL/API servers (prod, staging, beta, test)


• Track, report, and fix bugs


• The person will work closely with other team leads, QA, and product 

• Tech Lead who wants to start managing a team


• Management experience but not required


• 5+ years of industrial experience as an engineer/developer


• Experience as a team lead to provide technical and architectural guidance are required


• Experience as a team lead to mentor developers and hold code reviews are required


• Agile development and testing methodologies


• Technically : Experience with SOA, REST, database, git, webserver, cache, JSON, AWS (plus), Big Data (plus), Rails (plus)


• Computer Science or related background
