What You’re Applying For:
The Edmunds.com suite of Price Promise products is a new and growing online advertising program that connects automotive dealers with the almost 18 million vehicle shoppers that visit Edmunds.com on a monthly basis. The data analyst will play a crucial role in supporting our Sales team in gaining new dealer customers and retaining existing ones. In addition, this person will be expected to take ownership of projects to continually improve reporting quality through automation while also working cross-functionally to generate key insights, reports and analytics.

What You'll Do:
- Develop, evaluate, refine, and automate analytic models using data to address business needs
- Prepare visualizations of data in order to tell stories that explain and persuade
- Provide recommendations to key stakeholders and support the business need
- Create and produce forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc. utilizing our data warehouse and other data source systems and summarize your findings
- Interact with multiple teams in different departments and define requirements for reporting
- Consult the sales staff in their efforts to create and retain business
What You Need:
- A passion for analytics
- Strong analytical skills
- Sound presentation and communication skills (PowerPoint)
- Solid technical skills – SQL experience required
- Daily interaction with data visualization tools such as Tableau
- Experience with organizing and cleaning data
- Experience using and building reporting in Salesforce
- Experience implementing processes
- BS/BA Degree is required
- Exposure to statistical analysis is a plus
- Experience with R and/or Python is a plus
- At least two years of Data Analyst Experience required
