Content Expert
Context
Hawke Media, it’s now 100 employees; 100 friends working together to make sure our clients are provided with the best outsourced CMOs! Our family is constantly growing and to respond and react to our best quarter ever in our 3 years’ history, we are looking to hire an additional content expert to join our ICE channel.
We are looking a passionate and creative talent that has experience in writing for publications in the business industry. While on boarding a new partner in-house, this person will be managing a large portion of their time writing for the C-suite executive audience; how exciting! Additionally, this new content expert will be managing a constantly growing part of our content/social equity partners’ collaborations…!
Responsibilities
- You will pitch blog ideas and write content as needed for clients' blogs and social media accounts
- You will ensure all content meets stringent SEO and editorial standards
- You will be self-directed and proactive in seeking out information and strategic content
- You should be able to understand and incorporate constructive and adjust your writing accordingly
- You need to be able to produce on strict deadlines
Skills and Experience
- General web copywriting and web editing experience as well as creating content or editorial calendars
- Demonstrated ability to get things done and to continue to follow up on content placement pitches that weren’t successful the first or second time
- Blogging experience {Desired}
- Basic understanding of keyword research & selection {Desired}
- Basic HTML or image editing experience {Desired}
- Administrator/moderator of a forum or blog {Bonus}
