Build & Release Engineer

What you’ll do:

 

• Script builds with the likes of PowerShell, Ruby, or other scripting languages

• Create multi-platform build processes

• Evolve our continuous integration process to encompass build and test

• Work with Technical Operations for system provisioning

• Support our production release processes as needed

 

Qualifications:

 

• A keen eye for details and problem solving

• 3+ years of experience with a scripting language like PowerShell, Ruby, or JavaScript

• 3+ years of experience working as a Build or Release Engineer

• Ability to effectively communicate with Operations and Engineering

• Experience creating and maintaining builds using applications such as Jenkins, TFS, or similar systems

• Experience with source control management systems such as TFS or GIT

• Experience with IIS or Apache administration

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

 

It would be great if you had:

 

• Experience in a mixed Windows and Linux environment

• Exposure to task runners like Gulp or Grunt

• Used Node.js to facilitate build pipelines

• Basic understanding of SQL queries
