ROLE SUMMARY: We’re looking for a Manager to join the Brand Marketing Team at Dollar Shave Club. This innovative, self-starter will help deliver business growth in a multitude of ways. This passionate brand marketer will be responsible for the launch, analysis and optimization of innovative physical and digital product marketing strategies. This person will be an extremely collaborative, analytical, and organized leader, capable of prioritizing projects, establishing clear vision and rallying cross-functional teammates to achieve results.


RESPONSIBILITIES:             

  • Monitor and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual brand revenue goals; Measure member progress through brand funnel, driving growth in product awareness, consideration and purchase intent. Maintain brand identity and consistency.
  • Partner with Consumer Insights team to develop a deep knowledge of attitudinal & behavioral segment perceptions and habits and barriers to purchase. Regularly collect and review consumer feedback, industry best practices and market conditions to develop actionable marketing insights.
  • Deliver business revenue & growth goals by collaborating with x-functional teams to identify, develop and launch digital & physical products:
    • Build initial business case and present recommendations to senior management
    • Collaborate with PMO to create and manage detailed project timelines to ensure on-time delivery of all projects.
  • Develop and champion initiatives, partnerships and campaigns that support the delivery of the brand promise
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain messaging calendar across all “customer” channels.
  • Partner with internal acquisition team and creative agency to develop creative content that will live across a variety of media channels. This includes identifying the creative needs of the acquisition team, briefing the agency, providing creative feedback, reviewing content with legal/regulatory and submitting final creative to appropriate parties.
  • Constantly monitor campaign/creative performance and optimize as needed
  • Communicate relevant insights from existing data sets to the acquisition team so they are able to more effectively target and message prime prospects. Identify and consistently track member audiences cross channel to maximize reach, frequency and efficiency through smarter targeting.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree, MBA preferred
  • 3+ years of experience working in a marketing role in an ecommerce or CPG company
  • Digital marketing and/or CRM expertise a plus; Experience within a DTC company a plus
  • Analytical: Strong experience leveraging complex sets of data and consumer research to build a story for upper management
    • Experience using AC Nielsen or IRI a plus
  • Creativity: Strong intellectual curiosity, ability to “think out of the box”, extensive experience writing creative briefs and working with creative and media agencies
  • Project Management: Alongside PMO, ability to lead projects with multiple stakeholders, complex inputs, and time sensitive deadlines
  • Media/targeting: “Client” understanding of digital channels and targeting/tracking capabilities
    • Experience with media planning or buying a plus
  • Thought Leadership & Communication skills: Strong written/verbal skills with management, marketing team, x-functional, agencies, etc.
  • Time management: Effectively manage workload by prioritizing and managing multiple assignments
  • Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Flexibility: Ability to thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with constant change and learning on the fly
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
