We are seeking a organized, self-driven Audience Development Manager to aggressively grow daily audience for the Prodege Video Network across multiple brands. 

The primarily responsibility for the Audience Development Manager is to drive growth of Prodege Video Network MAUs and DAUs through content partnerships, promotions and paid acquisition. In this highly collaborative role, you will work cross-functionally with Editorial, Product, Account Management, Adops, Marketing and Monetization teams. This is a key role for an analytical mind interested in shaping the strategy of our digital future. We are seeking team players with at least five years of related digital media experience with a BA or equivalent.  This role requires someone who will take risks to grow our audience through creativity, data-driven insights, optimization, iteration and teamwork in a frequently changing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for MAU and DAU growth for Prodege’s Video Network through partnerships, paid acquisition including programmatic supply deals, revenue share opportunities and promotion
  • Work closely with Editorial, Product, Account Management, AdOps, Marketing and Monetization teams
  • Provide regular reporting based on audience size and engagement metrics to measure growth and inform ongoing strategy shifts
  • Develop and disseminate daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly traffic reporting
  • Work closely with the Account & AdOps teams to deliver on client KPI’s
  • Create and implement a plan that supports growth, increases adoption and drives long-term unique visitor growth
  • Report on traffic wins and losses, keeping editorial focused on content that works
  • Manage partner traffic growth opportunities, such as newsletter link exchanges, social link exchanges, and syndicated content partnerships
  • Update budgets for all paid ads based on CPC targets
  • Maintaining successful and effective relationships with traffic partners
  • Seek out new traffic partners and negotiate new relationships - with a willingness & self-driven hunger to reach out to both cold and warm leads in order to cultivate new partnerships
  • Brainstorming the next big way our sites will drown in tidal waves of new traffic!

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong knowledge of Google and YouTube Analytics, Facebook Insights, and experience with companies like Tubular Labs
  • 5+ years of experience in Audience Development at a Publisher or content aggregator. Ideal background includes work in media and entertainment, digital advertising agency or online marketing, advertising, or publishing organization, with a deep understanding of digital business models and strategies
  • Programmatic Advertising experience with various deal structures including CPM, CPC, and CPL
  • Understanding of and experience with all audience development channels - SEO, social, newsletter, partnerships, programmatic buying, etc.
  • Entrepreneurial, digitally savvy, with exceptional analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
