Tapiture is looking for an assistant editor intern to join our editorial team. You will work closely with the Managing Editor and rest of the editorial team to bring in new content for topics to keep our site content feeds fresh and interesting. Interns will spend about 12-15 hours a week bringing in new content for the site. While learning the editorial process of a tech start-up, you’ll have the chance to work in an office that’s on the Venice Boardwalk and in the heart of Silicon Beach.

 

• Incoming sophomore or junior in college

• Passionate about two or more of the following topics:

o Animals

o Architecture

o Art and Design

o Cars and Rides

o Food and Drink

o Humor

o Men’s Style

o Movies and TV

o Music and Audio

o Photography

o Sports and Fitness

o Tech and Gadgets

o Travel

• Knowledge of discovery sites (Reddit, Tumblr, Digg, Stumbleupon, etc.)

• Solid understanding of social media sites (Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)

• Available to work 12-15 hours/week

• Good sense of humor
