Position at Maple Media:
Maple Media is looking for a talented engineer to manage the technical functions of our portfolio of mobile apps. We’re looking for a smart, experienced, back-end engineer, with mobile app development experience, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will build critical tools used across all of the company’s mobile apps and solve complex engineering challenges. You will work across a wide variety of mobile technologies including: Unity, Objective-C, iOS, Android, and more. This person enjoys problem solving, thrives when learning new technologies, cares about scalability, interacts effectively in a team environment, and takes ownership and pride in the work that they do.
Responsibilities:
- Design, code, and develop new features/fix bugs/add enhancements to large scale services consumed by mobile clients
- Implement and update ad tech SDKs into acquired products
- Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability and stability of various system resources
- Design and develop new features for our mobile SDK on Android and iOS applications
- Develop automation frameworks and conduct necessary test before each SDK release
- Work with our support and services teams to patch bugs, update documentation, develop custom SDK features, and troubleshoot engineering problems
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Must be LA based
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent years of relevant work experience)
- Strong programming experience in a C-based language (C#, C/C++), Java, and/or Objective-C
- Experience developing and shipping native Android and iOS mobile applications
- Experience with web services and developing public-facing APIs
- Solid understanding of CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, etc.
- Curiosity for learning new languages and technologies
- Ability to work collaboratively
