This LA tech giant beat out Google and Yelp in this year's top workplaces list

For the second year in a row, Fortune has ranked its 30 Best Workplaces in Tech and Santa Monica's 

has landed in a prominent spot. 

The list is divided between Large, Medium and Small workplaces. With over 600 LA-based employees, Cornerstone took the number six spot in the Large Workplace category, followed by Yelp (#7) and Google (#8). 

Ultimate Software of Weston, FL took the top spot in the Large category for 2016. Austin's AcademicWorks and San Ramon's xMatters led the Small and Medium lists respectively.

Founded in 1999 and publicly traded since 2011, Cornerstone OnDemand is a cloud-based talent management software provider that is considered a staple in the LA tech ecosystem.
