Procrastinating? Here are 5 local LA apps to help

Are you being productive at work right now? If so, please exit out of this article.

For the rest of you daydreaming jamokes, we have assembled five local apps and websites that will help you get through however many restless hours remain in your work day. So if you are out local singles on Tinder and have no more Snaps to view, check out these mind numbing alternatives:

Dice with Buddies

A product of local game producer Scopely, Dice with Buddies lets you challenge your friends to an age-old game of virtual Yahtzee. Sure you don’t get the feeling of actually rolling the dice and hearing them clatter, but that doesn’t prevent the satisfaction of rubbing a victory in your friend’s face.

Ranker

People like lists — it is that simple. People like lists even more when they have a say. Ranker has taken pop culture and broken it down to thousands of lists, from the greatest rock bands of all time to the best outfits in Clueless, it’s all here.

Tapiture

Deemed the “Pinterest for Men,” this Venice based company has proven that the tiled image shopping format can resonate with both sexes. Whether it’s shopping for suits, checking out cars, or staring hopelessly at bikini clad women, this site has everything a man might need to get through his day — just be careful to avoid NSFW content.

JustFab

Reaching 5 p.m. on a Friday is a lot easier when you can spend a few hours perusing outfits for the weekend. This member-based shopping site creates a customized selection of shoes, handbags, and more for their users every month.

Flipagram

Originally created as a content editing app, the recently funded Flipagram has become a new hub for fresh video content. With videos lasting longer than Snapchat or Instagram but shorter than YouTube, Flipagram allows you to even add music, making you like a mini Martin Scorsese.
