Fandango launches app for Apple Watch

CNN correspondent heads to Snapchat

After nearly a decade of working at CNN, political reporter Peter Hamby is leaving the news and media outlet for an editorial job at Snapchat. The social media application launched its Discover section in January, creating a space for publishers such as ESPN, National Geographic and CNN to produce original content. Cornerstone OnDemand adds to its board

Cornerstone OnDemand Inc., a global leader in cloud-based talent management software solutions, announced that Robert Cavanaugh, the former president of worldwide enterprise, SMB and government for Concur Technologies, has been elected to Cornerstone’s board of directors effective as of April 20, 2015.

Whisper announces that it has 10 million users

On April 29, Whisper announced it has 10 million active monthly users, the first monthly disclosure of such metrics by the social media startup. The blog post that shared the announcement also said the users access the app one million times each hour. Access Integrated Healthcare raises $8.5M

Los Angeles-based Access Integrated Healthcare (AIH) has raised $8.5 million in growth capital — its first round since founding in 2009. The investment will fund the company’s continued expansion in two key market segments: comprehensive diagnostic imaging services— primarily to the workers’ compensation sector — and cosmetic surgery services targeting underserved regions throughout the U.S. under the Juvilee Medical Rejuvenation brand name. Nestigator scores $3M

Los Angeles-based Nestigator announced they have raised a $3 million Series A this week. The online real estate marketplace has been largely in stealth for the past year, building up their product and team, led by serial entrepreneur Jerry Slavonia. Ferris raises $2M seed round
