PyData Los Angeles is a locally organized and volunteer driven conference that seeks to bring together the data community in the greater Los Angeles area. PyData is an educational program of NumFOCUS, a U.S. 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The global PyData network promotes discussion of best practices, new approaches, and emerging technologies for data management, processing, analytics, and visualization. PyData communities approach data science using many languages, including (but not limited to) Python, Julia, and R.

This is the first year of PyData Los Angeles and we plan to only grow in the future. We expect a strong turnout (350+) this year with several tracks, 35+ talks and attendees ranging from data scientists, data engineers and software developers to CEOs/CIOs/CTOs.
