Description

Clear your calendar - It's going down! The Preccelerator® Program Class 9 Demo Day kicks off on August 28 @ 6:00 pm, and you're invited to take part in the festivities.

What a wild ride it has been! Preccelerator cohort companies are early stage, and we work hand in hand with them throughout their 6-month term to know their market and users, foster their leadership skills, build and test their product, avoid legal pitfalls, ensure the defensibility of their products, acquire users and partnerships and prepare them for the fundraising process. Now it's time to showcase their efforts!

A few stats from the past 9 Preccelerator classes:

- 43 portfolio companies - 9 current, 34 graduates!

-$11.4M in preseed and seed funding raised amongst graduates

-1 acquihire

-2 acquisitions

-company partnerships with entities such as Citrix, Henry Schein, Intuit, FAFSA (White House), Visa, Princess Cruises, Wave Media, ESPN, YMCA

-many companies launch from the Preccelerator into accelerators such as TechStars LA, TechStars Virgin Media, Alchemist, Matter Labs, Angel Pad, Portland Incubator Experiment, Startup Chile

- A diverse history with 12 female founders (28%), 16 minority founders (37%) when the national average is 17% and 9% respectively.
