Description

We invite you to join us on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 6pm -8:30pm for an informative and inspiring evening on how to live a healthy, happy, rich, balanced life. We want to bring together the movers, the shakers, the listeners, the talkers and the changemakers!

We have booked an amazing venue for this event: The Light Lab is 2000sqft, 20 foot cathedral ceilings with skylights and comfortable lounge area. But most importantly we selected a panel of dynamic, interesting women who are also passionate about health and wellness! Dr. Kimberly Shine is USC Alum and Dr. Kayla De la Haye works in the USC Department of Preventative Medicine and studies how social networks effect our health. Renata Helfman is a successful entrepreneur who used her talent as a celebrity makeup artist to create Lipstick Angels a company that sends beauty experts to women who are undergoing chemo and Chef LaLa a nutritionist and chef who was on Dr. Oz discussing cooking for diabetes.

As we all know homelessness in Los Angeles is public health problem so a portion of the proceeds will go to purchasing personal care items for the women who frequent The Downtown Women’s Center. The DWC is the only organization in Los Angeles focused exclusively on serving and empowering women experiencing homelessness. The DWC envisions every woman housed and on a path to personal stability, health and wellness.

We beyond thrilled to produce this passion project and we look forward to seeing you on August 15, 2018 at 6:00pm.
