Perform Post Data Processing and Analysis. Comply and Develop Safety procedures, and perform hazard assessments. Test equipment and batteries to mechanical shock, vibration, temperature, and humidity environments. Collect, organize, process, and analyze large quantities of cell test data to evaluate performance. Summarize data in test reports and make presentations. Maintain and calibrate equipment. Hands on experience with electrical test equipment, including: script writing for control of automated test equipment, data management, data plotting, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve test and equipment issues.

Strong background in the Lithium Ion Battery Module and Pack industry preferred. Utilize reliability statistics to identify reliability trends in the field and provide a clear snapshot of risk. Create comprehensive test plans, test standards, and procedures. Determine Sample sizes for EVT, DVT, and PVT Testing. Develop and manage KPIs for product reliability. Drive focus and priorities for cross functional teams that work on resolving reliability issues. Create warranty and end of life forecasts to provide visibility to finance, service, manufacturing, re-manufacturing, purchasing, supply chain and other teams that are impacted from field replacements. Identify data metric to create reliability analyses, ranging from simple time or miles analysis to big data physics of failure driven metrics. Initiate and manage root cause investigations for reliability issues, with major focus on a data driven approach. Set Reliability goals for products and their subsystems in the field and measure against progress. Analyze usage and environmental conditions from the field in order to improve requirement setting and testing methods. Create Fault Trees and reliability block diagrams to assess system reliability.

Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets. Experience working with and creating data architectures. Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks. Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams. A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques. Coding knowledge and experience with several languages: C, C++, Java, JavaScript, etc. Knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques: GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, etc.

The incumbent will work with General Assembly Parts Requirements (Presentation, QPC, Quality, etc.) and work in conjunction with the rest of the Manufacturing, Materials Management, Test, Consumer Products, Logistics and New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to define and specify applicable packaging requirements.
