User Experience Designer

KEYPR is redefining the guest experience at hotels worldwide. Our mission is to create a whole new way to travel, taking advantage of cutting-edge mobile technologies to deliver a superior hotel stay. We put guests in charge of what, when and how they want their hotel to meet their needs.

We are building the next-generation hardware and software platform for the hospitality industry and are looking for brilliant and versatile engineers who know the technology landscape and can craft simple and creative solutions.

We are currently looking for a User Experience Designer to assist the engineering and product teams in designing online experiences that captivate audiences and stand out from the competition across a variety of devices and interfaces: mobile, browser and tablet.

Job Responsibilities

  • User Research & Testing: analyzing user feedback and activity, and iterating designs to enhance the user experience

  • Wireframing & Prototyping: Create clickable prototypes to share with stakeholders using industry standard tools and techniques.

  • Optimize Usability: Make your design responsive to strengthen its performance across iOS, Android, and web platforms.

  • Assist with content development

  • Conduct competitor and customer analysis

  • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.

Job Requirements

  • UX designer is expected to be self-directed but also collaborative. They must possess superb communication, time-management and process-management skills. Keen problem-solving and organizational abilities are necessary among other soft skills.

  • Expertise in UX software such as InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer.js, Quartz Composer, and the like is a must. Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.

  • Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.

  • A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns.

  • Ability to iterate your designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.

  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.

  • A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design.

  • Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.

  • Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies.

  • Experience designing UX for B2C (Guest) and B2B (Staff) a plus

Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
