About the role

We are seeking a Scrum Master/Technical Project Manager to help drive delivery across our engineering teams and continuously improve how we build, test, and deploy our platform. In this hybrid role, you will serve as a technical delivery facilitator—working closely with engineering and product leadership to align team execution with business priorities.

You’ll help coordinate the prioritization of epics, maintain visibility into the product roadmap, and ensure that teams are focused on delivering the highest-impact initiatives for LifeMD’s rapidly scaling telehealth platform. This position reports to Engineering Leadership and partners closely with Product Management, QA, Clinical, DevOps, and Compliance to help deliver software that powers LifeMD’s virtual care operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead across multiple cross-functional development teams (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews)
  • Facilitate the prioritization of epics and initiatives in partnership with stakeholders across the business, ensuring alignment between business goals, technical dependencies, and team capacity
  • Maintain and communicate the delivery roadmap, keeping stakeholders informed of progress, upcoming milestones, and risks
  • Translate strategic objectives into clear sprint and release goals, ensuring transparency and accountability across teams
  • Maintain visibility into team progress through dashboards, burndown charts, and key delivery metrics
  • Identify, document, and escalate risks or dependencies that could impact timelines or quality
  • Drive accountability for engineering deliverables while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture
  • Support backlog refinement sessions, helping teams break down large epics into actionable stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Partner with QA and DevOps to ensure reliable, non-disruptive deployments and smooth production transitions
  • Collaborate with IT Operations and InfoSec to ensure compliance with internal controls and security standards
  • Promote continuous improvement across the organization by identifying and implementing process enhancements

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Technical Project Manager supporting agile software development teams
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum principles, SDLC, and DevOps practices
  • Proven experience managing the prioritization and delivery of complex roadmaps across multiple teams
  • Hands-on familiarity with tools like Notion, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and Slack for project tracking and collaboration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills—able to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Skilled in servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, and fostering team accountability
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, regulated (healthcare or SaaS) environment
  • A proactive mindset, ownership mentality, and passion for delivering meaningful technology at scale

Benefits
  • Salary Range: $160,000-$180,000
  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
