Who we are!
Company is an integrated digital solutions firm that specializes in Cybersecurity, Cloud and Managed Services. Our team provides high-end, quality resources to help our Federal Mission Partners realize their goals.

You.
As a Technical Solutions Architect, you are more than a proposal contributor, you are a technical storyteller and thought leader who thrives on solving complex problems. You will design, articulate, and defend solutions that not only meet requirements but demonstrate vision, clarity, and confidence in execution. This role demands intellectual curiosity, versatility across modern architectures (Cloud, AI/ML, Zero Trust, DevSecOps, MLOps), and the ability to translate deep technical expertise into compelling strategies that resonate with evaluators and decision makers.

What you get to do.
•Own the technical solution through the Capture and Proposal lifecycle—shaping strategy from early qualification through final submission.
•Engineer elegant solutions that go beyond baseline compliance, anticipating mission needs and positioning our offerings as differentiated and sustainable.
•Collaborate across disciplines—working with SMEs, program leaders, capture teams, and executives to align solutions with both customer outcomes and business strategy.
•Design and document architectures using diagrams, models, and solution narratives that integrate security, scalability, and innovation.
•Architect across platforms including cloud-native (Azure, AWS), hybrid/multi-cloud, and edge environments—integrating DevSecOps, MLOps, automation pipelines, and Zero Trust architectures.
•Shape proposals into winners by blending technical depth with narrative clarity, ensuring evaluators understand the mission impact of your design.
•Mentor and influence—help cross-functional staff understand not only what the solution is, but why it matters to mission and customer success.
•Lead proofs-of-concept and technical demos that validate innovative approaches and establish customer trust.
•Bridge technical and financial viability by working closely with pricing teams to ensure solutions are both defensible and compelling.
•Stay ahead of trends, monitor emerging technologies, federal standards, and mission requirements to inject innovation into every solution.
•Develop and mature PT78’s internal capabilities, building reusable solution assets, frameworks, and delivery tools that strengthen our technical depth and set the foundation for future growth.

Required skills.
•Bachelor's Degree or recent commensurate experience
•Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
•Minimum eight (8) years of experience in IT, with at least
•Minimum five (5) years in a Solution Architect role for Federal Customers.
•Proven success in federal proposal development, with a track record of shaping solutions that win.
•Strong expertise in Azure Platform Services and product evolution (AI, OpenAI, Power Platform).
•Mastery of federal compliance standards (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST) and how they drive design.
•Hands-on experience with DevSecOps pipelines (Jenkins, Terraform, OpenShift, Docker, Ansible, GitHub, Nexus).
•Strong understanding of Zero Trust and enterprise cybersecurity architectures.
•Exceptional communication skills—able to translate technical depth into accessible, persuasive narratives.
•Proficiency with solution design tools (Visio, PowerPoint, Project).

Preferred Skills.
•Direct operational and workload development experience with Federal agencies in cloud/hybrid environments.
•Experience designing MLOps/AI-enabled architectures in regulated federal environments.
•Demonstrated thought leadership (white papers, speaking, or published solutions).

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
